welcome to our little slice of the interwebs.


I'm a bit of an introvert. Large groups of people, focused on me, make me cringe. (You'd never know I used to be a theatre junkie!) if you were right here, in my little neck of the woods, this is the time i'd invite you to sit down in one of these adirondack chairs, in our crazy, messy, busy yard. i'd sneak you a (probably sticky) glass of ice water, a fresh-baked mud pie brownie, and we'd chat about life. kids. military life. the Midwest and the South. and Jesus.

jeff and i have been together since we were in high school.
met at 10 and 11, dating at 16/17, married at 22/23. whew!
we now have three crazy children, one big stripey dog, a condo we outgrew but can't live in, a wonderful church family, a hectic but incredible navy career, and a whole lot of love wherever we put down.

this blog is about our family and friends, our struggles, and our triumphs and our faith that holds it all together.
